Sitecore provides software to create and manage digital content and campaigns, combining content management, commerce, customer data and personalisation. AI features support marketing workflows, and the Scrunch acquisition, announced on 3 June 2026, extends analysis of brand visibility in AI search answers. Formed in 2001 by a group with roots in Pentia, it has its legal address in Copenhagen and its HQ in San Francisco. In 2011 it received a minority investment from TCV and on 1 April 2016 EQT VII agreed to buy the majority for about €1 billion, with about €200 million of revenue and almost 800 employees. Eric Stine has been CEO since 1 May 2025.
