Listen to the episodeAbout Sereact
Sereact was founded in 2021 in Stuttgart by Dr. Ralf Gulde and Marc Tuscher on a specific technical thesis: existing industrial robots are rigid because the software controlling them is rule-based and requires reprogramming for every new scenario. The startup developed Cortex, an AI model combining vision, language and action โ it understands natural language instructions, sees the environment through cameras, and generates appropriate movements for any robot. An operator can simply tell the robot "pick up the blue package" and the system understands without explicit programming. In April 2026, Sereact raised $110M in a Series B led by Headline with Bullhound and Felix Capital. Clients include BMW and Amazon. The company is opening a Boston office to accelerate US expansion.
