Listen to the episodeAbout Invisix
Invisix is a Dutch deeptech startup spun out of ASML to commercialise more than a decade of research in soft x-ray metrology. The company develops measurement systems for advanced chips, using soft x-ray scatterometry and technologies linked to High Harmonic Generation to reconstruct internal 3D structures without destroying the device. The โฌ20M seed round will help bring to market a critical technology for increasingly three-dimensional, complex and hard-to-inspect chips.
The Story
Founded in 2025 by ASML alumni and PhD physicists Christina Porter and Sietse van der Post, Invisix is based on technology incubated inside ASML since 2015.

Key Metrics
Lessons from Invisix
- In deeptech markets, the most defensible problem is often a very specific physical bottleneck.
- Technology incubated inside a major industrial player can start with stronger technical credibility than a typical early-stage startup.
- In B2B hardware, go-to-market requires trust, validation and integration into existing customer processes.
