Euclyd is a Dutch startup founded in Eindhoven in 2024 by former ASML executives (the global monopolist in chip lithography machines). The company develops ultra-efficient AI systems for foundation models based on a system-in-package (SiP) approach with custom neural processors, proprietary memory architecture and whole-stack optimisation. The promise: 100x better power efficiency for inference vs Nvidia's Vera Rubin GPUs. Angel investors include Peter Wennink (ex-ASML CEO), Federico Faggin (microprocessor inventor) and Steven Schuurman (Elastic founder). In 2026 it started raising €100M+ for a Series A.
