HyImpulse Technologies is a German space startup founded in 2018 in Neuenstadt am Kocher (Baden-Württemberg). The company develops paraffin-based hybrid propulsion rockets — an approach combining the operational simplicity of solid propellants with the throttleability of liquids, and inherently safer and cheaper. In 2024 it successfully completed the flight test of the SR75 suborbital rocket, demonstrating for the first time worldwide a commercial paraffin hybrid engine. It is developing SL1, a three-stage orbital rocket with 600 kg payload in LEO, expected for 2027. With ~€74M raised since inception, in October 2025 it closed a €45M Series A led by Campus Founders Ventures.
