About Holidu
Holidu GmbH was founded in 2014 by brothers Johannes and Michael Siebers and is based in Munich. Difficulties finding a holiday home prompted the original project. The guest-facing platform was later joined by software and services for owners and small property managers, initially branded Bookiply and brought under the Holidu name in 2023. Hosts receive multi-channel distribution, calendar synchronization, booking and payment tools, guest communication and local support. Revenue comes from booking-related commissions and services, distinguished from fees charged by external portals. In July 2026, Holidu reported more than 60,000 homes managed through its software. Property counts are distinct from host counts. Growth includes local portal acquisitions: Cybevasion in 2025 and Gites.com in July 2026. The February 2026 bestfewo.de integration covers the portal, while bestfewo GmbH remains independent. Holidu announced €46 million in new equity during 2025. Its financing history also contains mixed equity-and-debt transactions, which are recorded separately.
The Story
Johannes and Michael Siebers started Holidu in 2014 after facing inconsistent prices and availability while planning a Portuguese holiday. The product expanded from guest search into host operations.
