Listen to the episodeAbout Vensum Power
Vensum Power is a Finnish deeptech company founded in 2018 and part of the Aalto Startup Center in Espoo, led by CEO Peter Nisula, with about 20 employees. It develops a software-defined power conversion platform designed to keep efficiency high even when loads change rapidly, for electric-vehicle charging, energy storage systems and DC microgrids. On 6 November 2026 it announced a €9 million Series A co-led by Lifeline Ventures, Larsen & Toubro Group and Eviny Ventures, following a €3.8 million seed led by Lifeline in 2023, bringing total funding raised to €15.2 million. The funds will take the platform to mass production in 2027 and then extend it to AI data centres. Its “near-lossless” performance is a company claim that still needs industrial-scale validation.
