About LumApps
LumApps offers a communication, knowledge and tools hub for employees, integrated with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and business applications, centralising communications, HR resources, collaboration and learning. Beekeeper adds mobile services for frontline workers without an office desk. The company was founded in Lyon in 2012 by Sébastien Ricard, Lionel Grivel, Élie Mélois and Olivier Chanoux. It raised about $102 million in three rounds between 2017 and 2020, with Idinvest and Goldman Sachs as leads; in 2024 Bridgepoint acquired the majority in a $650 million deal. On 2 July 2025 it announced the combination with Beekeeper, at a valuation above $1 billion for the combined company. It is no longer an independent unicorn.
