BRAINR is a Portuguese startup founded in 2023 by Paulo Gaspar (CEO), Rui Batista (COO) and Ricardo Granada (CTO), with backgrounds in the meat industry. The company developed a cloud-based MES designed for food production that integrates factory operations in real time, improving traceability, operator support and error reduction compared to manual processes and traditional ERP systems. The software already covers a quarter of Portugal's meat production. In September 2025 it closed the globally largest seed round in the sector, raising €11M from C2 Capital Partners.
