BeNewtral

BeNewtral is an Italian startup founded in 2020 by Riccardo Frezzato and Nicolò Verardi, born from the PoliHub accelerator of the Politecnico di Milano. The company developed ReBind, a mineral cement alternative produced through the valorisation of non-hazardous industrial by-products using proprietary technology. ReBind can reduce production CO₂ emissions by up to 90% per tonne, eliminating 98% of energy and 93% of water compared to traditional cement, with no mineral extraction. In February 2026 it completed a €7M capital increase bringing total raised to €11M, and acquired a plant in Pavia with 25,000 tonnes/year production capacity.
