The company's flagship product, the Rocsys M1, is the world's first multi-bay hands-free charging solution for autonomous fleets. It combines robotic arms, computer vision, and fleet management software to automatically connect and charge multiple vehicles in a depot — no human intervention required. The system is designed for the operational reality of autonomous fleets: vehicles arriving at irregular intervals, at varying states of charge, needing to be turned around quickly. The software layer that orchestrates all of this is as important as the hardware, managing charging priority, bay allocation, and energy optimization across the depot. The technology is relevant not just for robotaxis but for any electric vehicle fleet that needs to reduce dependence on manual charging operations — logistics vehicles, autonomous shuttles, and other commercial EV applications. But the robotaxi use case is where Rocsys is most distinctively positioned, because it is the scenario where hands-free charging is not merely convenient but operationally necessary. A Series A extension of €11.1 million, led by Capricorn Partners and joined by Scania Invest, Forward.One, SEB Greentech VC, and Graduate Ventures, brings Rocsys's total funding to €47.9 million. The presence of Scania Invest is noteworthy — it signals that major players in commercial transport are watching this space closely and taking early positions. The autonomous vehicle industry has many unsolved infrastructure problems; charging is one of the most concrete, and Rocsys is one of the few companies that has built a working solution at scale.
