At a moment when the debate over European technological sovereignty is intensifying, having a frontier AI research lab rooted on the continent, focused on the structured data that governs the real economy, carries weight that extends well beyond pure commercial value. The addressable market is enormous. Enterprises managing large volumes of structured data on SAP platforms represent a significant share of global GDP. Every process that today requires human analysts to interpret ERP data, build reports, generate forecasts, or optimize operations is a candidate for transformation through foundation models like those developed by Prior Labs. The acquisition also marks a paradigm shift in the AI strategy of large enterprise corporations: access to the generalist models of major American players is no longer enough.
