About INERATEC
Aviation and shipping are among the hardest sectors to decarbonize. Batteries are insufficient for long-haul aircraft, and maritime transport requires energy densities that direct electrification cannot yet deliver. E-fuels โ produced from COโ and green hydrogen โ represent the most credible answer for these industries, but the challenge has always been production: too slow, too expensive, too difficult to scale. INERATEC set out to attack this bottleneck. The company manufactures compact chemical reactors that convert COโ and green hydrogen into e-fuels and synthetic chemical products. The underlying chemistry is well established, but INERATEC has miniaturized and modularized it, making it replicable at industrial scale in less time than conventional plants require. The result is a pathway to net-zero fuel production that can be adopted by operators who already have existing distribution infrastructure in place. Target customers include airlines, shipping operators, the chemical industry, and energy companies. These are large organizations facing increasing regulatory obligations and decarbonization targets that can no longer be deferred. For them, INERATEC is not selling technology alone โ it is selling a credible exit from a strategic dead end. INERATEC's positioning as "the fastest way to obtain zero COโ e-fuels" is both a commercial promise and a technical claim. In a market where deployment speed is critical โ regulatory deadlines do not wait โ being the fastest supplier can mean the difference between winning a contract and losing it. This is a niche with high technical barriers to entry, and a market potential that will grow in direct proportion to the price of carbon and the stringency of environmental regulation.
