Veo

Veo is a Danish startup founded in 2015 in Copenhagen that made accessible to every amateur sports team what was previously available only to professional clubs: automatic game video recording. Veo's cameras use artificial intelligence to automatically follow the action on the pitch without an operator — the camera recognises players, the ball, and the playing area, and automatically frames the key moment. The result is a broadcasting-quality match video produced by a single camera without a cameraperson. The product targets amateur and semi-professional football, hockey, basketball, and other team sport clubs: for a monthly subscription, the club has unlimited access to recordings of its matches, shareable with players, parents, and coaching staff through a cloud platform integrated with tactical analysis tools. The model eliminates the need for an operator and reduces sports video costs from hundreds to just a few euros per match. Veo has surpassed 100,000 club customers in over 100 countries and has raised significant funding to accelerate growth — including partnerships with national football federations in Europe that have made Veo cameras the official standard for youth and amateur leagues.
