About Too Good To Go

Too Good To Go is the Danish app that transformed fighting food waste into a daily behaviour for tens of millions of people. Founded in 2015 in Copenhagen, the platform connects restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and other businesses with consumers who can buy at a discounted price (generally one third of the value) "magic bags" โ€” surprise bags containing the day's unsold food that would otherwise go to landfill. The scale achieved is impressive: 120 million registered users, 180,000 active partners across 19 countries spanning Europe, Australia, and North America, estimated annual revenues of around $610 million. In just the first seven months of 2025, 8.1 million meals were saved โ€” 67% more than the same period in 2024. Profitability is improving: in 2024, EBITDA before special items was โ‚ฌ10.6 million (up from โ‚ฌ7.5 million in 2023). Too Good To Go built one of the densest networks in European food retail, with partnerships including Whole Foods, Eataly, and Circle K in North America. Growth in the United States, where expansion accelerated in 2025 with the addition of 30+ new cities, represents the next scale market for a mission that has remained consistent from day one.
