Listen to the episodeAbout SAIA Agrobotics
SAIA Agrobotics is a Dutch startup founded in 2020 developing autonomous robots for precision agriculture. SAIA robots operate autonomously in crops, performing targeted interventions at individual plant level: visual detection of pathogens and weeds, mechanical weeding, localised application of crop protection treatments. The approach dramatically reduces pesticide, herbicide and fertiliser use vs conventional agriculture. In November 2025 it raised EUR 10M in a Series A round.
