Rimac Automobili

Rimac Automobili, founded in 2009 in Sveta Nedelja, Croatia, by Mate Rimac, builds electric hypercars such as the Nevera and supplies advanced EV components (batteries, powertrain systems, power electronics) to other automakers. The company is now part of Bugatti Rimac, the joint venture combining Rimac's agility and technological innovation in electric vehicles with more than a century of Bugatti's hypercar-building heritage. 2025 brought exceptional performance results for the Nevera R, the most extreme version of Rimac's electric hypercar: 24 verified performance records set during the year, including reclaiming the top of the 0-400-0 km/h ranking with a time of 25.79 seconds, 2.04 seconds faster than the previous record holder. The Nevera R delivers 2,107 hp through four independent motors controlled by a sophisticated torque-vectoring system, achieving 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds and a top speed of 431.45 km/h. On the commercial side, Rimac launched the Nevera R Founder's Edition, an extremely limited series of just ten units announced during Monterey Car Week 2025: all ten units were allocated within a week of the private announcement, with the first delivery taking place at The I.C.E. St. Moritz in January 2026. The experience reserved for Founder's Club members includes personal configuration sessions with Mate Rimac and Design Director Frank Heyl at Rimac's Zagreb campus, plus ongoing privileged access to company activities for the entire duration of vehicle ownership. Rimac Automobili remains a symbol of Croatian engineering excellence in electric automotive, able to compete at the highest global level in the hypercar segment while maintaining a corporate identity strongly tied to its founder and original headquarters.
