Pigment is a SaaS platform founded in 2019 in Paris that facilitates financial planning and corporate budgeting (FP&A — Financial Planning & Analysis). The product lets finance and operations teams build flexible planning models, run scenario simulations, and collaborate in real time, replacing traditional spreadsheets with a visual interface designed to be accessible even to non-technical users. Pigment's growth trajectory has been among the fastest in European enterprise SaaS: the company reached unicorn status in April 2024 with a $145 million Series D led by ICONIQ Growth, with participation from Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, IVP, Meritech, and Felix Capital, bringing total funding to $397 million. The round coincided with a tripling of Annual Recurring Revenue, a doubling of its global customer base, and a tripling of enterprise customers, including names such as Unilever, Merck, Datadog, and Keolis. Growth continued into 2025-2026: Pigment is approaching $100 million in ARR, sustaining 2x year-over-year growth for three consecutive years — a rarity in enterprise SaaS, where growth curves tend to slow past a certain scale. Headcount grew from 534 employees in 2024 to about 608 in 2026. On the product side, Pigment is investing in agentic AI features to automate part of the financial analysis and forecasting work traditionally done manually by FP&A teams. Pigment competes in the enterprise financial planning market, historically dominated by legacy solutions like Anaplan and Adaptive Insights, positioning itself as a more modern, flexible alternative that has rapidly won over top-tier customers.
