LearnUpon is a Learning Management System (LMS) platform founded in 2012 in Dublin that helps companies manage online training for their employees, customers, and business partners. The product enables course creation, learner progress tracking, and skills certification, positioning itself as reference infrastructure for enterprise-scale B2B and B2B2C training. LearnUpon has raised a total of $57.4 million, with the most significant round — a $56 million Series A — closed in October 2020 with participation from Summit Partners, Enterprise Ireland, NDRC, and Furthr. Its customer base today numbers over 1,500 companies, including notable names such as Zendesk, BambooHR, Gusto, and The Adecco Group, demonstrating the platform's ability to serve both tech scale-ups and large multinational organisations. November 2025 brought a key strategic move: the acquisition of Courseau, an AI-assisted course creation platform, with plans to fully integrate its technology by early 2026 to dramatically automate and speed up training content production. During 2025 the company also launched Learning Journeys, a feature enabling customers to automate and personalise learning paths at scale, and strengthened its leadership team with new appointments across product, engineering, marketing, and customer experience. LearnUpon operates in a mature but transforming LMS market, where integrating generative AI into training content creation is now the main competitive differentiator among rival platforms.
