Temporary labor is one of the largest and least efficient markets in the European economy. Millions of workers seek flexible employment in logistics, retail, and manufacturing, while companies need to scale their workforce quickly in response to seasonal demand or operational peaks. In between sit traditional staffing agencies with paper-based processes, high margins, and limited ability to match supply and demand at scale. Jobandtalent chose to build a digital staffing agency, using technology to do what traditional agencies do with more people, more time, and more cost. Founded in Madrid by Juan Urdiales and Felipe Navío, Jobandtalent is a technology marketplace that connects workers and companies in the temporary labor market, managing contracts, payroll, and compliance centrally through a digital platform. The model is that of a technology-intensive staffing agency: Jobandtalent becomes the formal employer of workers, handles all administrative requirements, and retains a percentage of salary as a fee. For client companies, this means zero HR bureaucracy for temporary workers. For workers, it means access to job opportunities and timely payment through an app. The platform has operated across several European countries and the United States, building a presence in sectors where temporary work is structurally embedded. The digitization of a traditionally analog market is Jobandtalent's core bet.
