Involve Space is an Italian spacetech startup founded in 2021 by Jonathan Polotto. The company developed Neurostar, a pseudo-satellite platform operating in the high stratosphere (20,000-30,000m) mounted on high-altitude balloons, capable of real-time Earth monitoring, telecommunications and security applications with persistent coverage over defined geographic areas. The planned LoonHive constellation will include 5 balloons by 2026. Supported by ESA (CASSINI programme), EIC, CDP Venture Capital and Earlybird, in September 2024 it raised €2.5M seed to accelerate development and prepare for commercial launch.
