About Fever

What to do this weekend? It is one of the most common questions in urban life and one of the hardest to answer well. Options exist โ€” concerts, exhibitions, dinners, events โ€” but they are scattered across dozens of different platforms, theater websites, social pages, and newsletters. Fever built the answer to this fragmentation: a global platform for discovering and booking urban experiences operating in over 100 cities worldwide, with a personalization algorithm that helps users find the events most relevant to their tastes. Founded in Madrid by Pep Gรณmez, Fever is not simply a ticketing aggregator โ€” it has also become a producer of original experiences. Secret Cinema, the immersive exhibitions on Van Gogh and Klimt that filled warehouses in dozens of cities, thematic experiences in unusual venues โ€” Fever produces, distributes, and promotes events that would not exist without it. This dual role โ€” marketplace and producer โ€” creates a differentiator that is difficult to replicate. The business model combines a ticketing marketplace with commissions on sold tickets, alongside revenue from proprietary experience production. The platform collects data on user tastes and preferences that progressively improve recommendation quality and communication relevance. In an increasingly competitive entertainment market, Fever found an original position: not simply selling tickets, but helping people live experiences they will remember.

Lessons from Fever

  • A marketplace can become a proprietary platform if you control the supply.
  • Demand data helps create new products, not just distribute existing ones.
  • Category creation works best when combining discovery, ticketing and original formats.
