Energy Robotics is a German deep-tech startup founded in 2019 in Darmstadt. The company develops a hardware-agnostic AI software platform for autonomous inspections of critical infrastructure — oil & gas, chemical, electrical and industrial — using robots and drones from any vendor. The system integrates multiple robotic platforms, generates real-time Evergreen Digital Twins of infrastructure and delivers insights directly into customer workflows. With 1M+ inspections completed across 5 continents and 32,000+ hours of hazardous labour saved, clients include BASF, BP, Dow, E.ON, Merck, Repsol and Shell. In October 2025 it closed a €11.5M Series A co-led by Blue Bear Capital and Climate Investment.
