Most enterprise training platforms were designed for people who spend their working day in front of a screen. Elephant Company was founded in Berlin in 2022 on a different premise: the most important layer to train and connect is that of frontline workers — warehouse operatives, production staff, field technicians, retail employees — who make up more than 60% of the global workforce but receive a fraction of the training resources directed at knowledge workers. The platform combines four integrated products. Field App is the mobile interface that lets managers communicate directly with field teams in real time. The AI assistant answers operational questions in context — procedures, protocols, product data — at the exact moment a worker needs them. AI Coursebuilder converts operational know-how into structured micro-learning, transforming existing company documentation into short, contextualised training modules. Elephant Hub is the analytics and management layer that lets HR and operations managers monitor training engagement and team performance. The underlying insight is that knowledge transfer in physical processes fails not because content is missing, but because it lacks accessibility and context. Elephant Company addresses both: content is delivered on the mobile device workers already use, at the moment the knowledge is relevant to the task at hand. In 2026, the company closed a round of over €5 million led by EnBW New Ventures and Wepa, with participation from business angels with direct operational backgrounds in large-scale workforce management from Flix, home24 SE, SB21, Ventic Ventures and topi.
