Droidrun is a Berlin startup founded in 2025 by Peter Lächner, backed by Peter Sarlin from Silo AI (acquired by AMD) and Felix Jahn (founder of McMakler). The company develops an open-source AI agent framework controlling Android and iOS apps through natural language commands. Launched 10 weeks before funding, it had already amassed 3,300+ GitHub stars and 900+ developer signups in the first 24 hours. In July 2025 it raised €2.1M pre-seed led by Merantix Capital.
