About Devo

Security teams face the same paradox every day: the data needed to detect threats exists, but there is so much of it, arriving so fast and from so many distributed sources, that analyzing it in real time is at the limits of what traditional technologies can handle. Devo built its platform around this challenge, developing a cloud-native security analytics and log management system capable of ingesting billions of events per day with minimal latency, keeping all data available for real-time queries without compromising performance. Founded by Pedro Castillo and headquartered in Cambridge, Devo serves the Security Operations Centers of large enterprises and global MSSPs, providing the ability to correlate security events from heterogeneous sources, identify anomalies, and investigate incidents at the speed that the modern threat landscape demands. The difference from traditional SIEM solutions lies in the architecture: Devo doesn't sample data, doesn't aggregate before indexing, and doesn't impose rigid retention windows. It stores everything, indexes everything, and makes everything queryable. This architectural choice has infrastructure cost implications, but gives security teams the complete visibility that legacy solutions cannot provide. The enterprise SaaS model targets organizations managing complex IT environments with stringent compliance requirements. Devo is an example of how technology developed in Europe โ€” with Spanish roots and global reach โ€” can compete at the top of the enterprise security market.
