Dawnguard is a Dutch startup founded in 2025 in The Hague by Mahdi Abdulrazak (CEO) and Kim van Lavieren (CTO), which emerged from stealth with a €2.6M pre-seed led by 9900 Capital. The company developed an AI-native platform for security architecture automation that converts security architecture designs into enforceable code and continuously validates them against live production systems. The approach closes the structural gap between security intent and actual implementation — a problem that causes most enterprise breaches. In July 2026 it closed a second pre-seed of €2.8M with BNVT Capital, Curiosity VC and eCAPITAL, bringing total raised to over €5.5M.
