CHARM Therapeutics is a London-based biopharmaceutical startup founded in 2021 by Laksh Aithani (ex-Exscientia) and supported by David Baker (Breakthrough Prize winner for protein design). The company developed DragonFold, a 3D deep learning-based AI protein-ligand prediction platform that identifies molecules capable of specifically binding to difficult oncology protein targets. The platform was developed as an evolution of protein structure prediction models (such as AlphaFold). In 2025 it raised €68.5M in a Series B to advance its oncology inhibitor pipeline.
