Yet a growing portion of the world's energy infrastructure โ€” offshore wind farms, oil platforms, submarine cables, aquaculture facilities โ€” lives underwater and requires continuous monitoring, inspection, and maintenance. Bubble Robotics, a UK startup that emerged from stealth with a specific proposition for these environments, has developed autonomous robotic systems designed precisely for this context. The company designs and builds autonomous robots capable of operating in ocean environments for offshore monitoring and inspection missions.
