Europe's housing shortage is not going away. The structural gap between the number of homes needed and the number being built has widened for years, driven by a combination of rising costs, labor shortages, regulatory friction, and construction methods that have not fundamentally changed in generations. All3 is making a direct technological bet on solving this โ not through policy or finance, but through robotics and AI that can make building faster, cheaper, and less dependent on a shrinking skilled labor force. The company's core product is Mantis, a legged robot designed to work on actual construction sites. That distinction โ legged, not wheeled โ matters more than it might seem. Construction sites are chaotic, uneven, and unpredictable environments that defeat wheeled and tracked robots. Legs allow Mantis to navigate the same terrain human workers do, climbing, stepping over obstacles, and operating in spaces that conventional autonomous systems cannot reach. Alongside the robot, All3 has built an AI design platform that generates optimized construction plans โ not generic templates, but plans calibrated to the specific building, site, and materials in question โ which Mantis and modular robotic assembly cells then execute on-site. The system is designed to compress the timeline and cost of residential construction while simultaneously reducing embodied carbon โ the emissions locked into the materials and processes that go into building a structure. Both metrics matter to the market All3 is targeting: developers who need faster build cycles to make projects financially viable, and increasingly, regulators and institutional buyers who are tracking the environmental footprint of new construction. The $25 million Seed round, led by RTP Global and VNV Global, is one of the larger construction-tech raises in recent memory, and it reflects the scale of ambition here. All3 is not building a tool to help existing construction workflows run more smoothly โ it is building a replacement for those workflows. The housing crisis is structural. The response, All3 is arguing, needs to be structural too.
