AIPERTECH

Aipertech is a spin-off of the University of Udine, founded in 2022 from the AI laboratory led by professors Carlo Tasso and Giuseppe Serra, and the Geomatics Laboratory coordinated by professor Salvatore Amaduzzi. As an innovative university startup, it transfers research capabilities developed over two decades of academic activity in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing into practical industrial applications. Aipertech's solutions cover three main areas: forecasting temporal variables through historical series analysis (predictive maintenance, failure forecasting, demographic trend analysis), computer vision for classification and quality control in manufacturing settings, and natural language processing for automatic information extraction and content classification. The startup primarily targets manufacturing SMEs in northeastern Italy — an industrial fabric with high efficiency requirements and low AI penetration. Its university spin-off positioning guarantees privileged access to research and strong technical credibility, while its location in Friuli Venezia Giulia — a region with deep manufacturing roots and a tradition of university-industry collaboration — provides a fertile ecosystem for growth.
