Additive Drives is a Dresden startup founded in 2020 by Dr. Jakob Jung, Axel Helm and Philipp Arnold that has developed a new generation of electric motors produced with additive manufacturing. The technology enables rotor windings in complex shapes impossible with traditional processes, achieving up to 98% energy efficiency and eliminating dependence on rare earths.
