Adcytherix is a biopharmaceutical startup founded in 2024 in Marseille by Jack Elands (CEO), Xavier Preville and Carsten Dehning — backed by Pontifax Venture Capital. The company develops next-generation antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) with a focus on novel payloads for treating cancers resistant to existing therapies. After launching with a €30M seed, in 2025 it closed a Series A round of €105M co-led by Andera Partners, Angelini Ventures, Bpifrance and Kurma Partners, with participation from Citadel (Surveyor Capital), aMoon, KKR (DawnBiopharma) and RA Capital. The round will fund ADC pipeline development and Phase 1 clinical trials.
