Founded in 2014 in Prague by Tomáš Čupr, Rohlik is the leader in e-grocery across Central and Eastern European markets — Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Romania, Hungary — with a model that defies the quick commerce dogma: instead of delivering in 10 minutes from urban dark stores, Rohlik delivers in scheduled time slots with 15,000+ product assortment and a shopping experience superior to physical supermarkets.

The key to Rohlik's model is fulfillment center automation: the ARCOS system and robotic picking enable processing orders at unit costs significantly lower than manual picking, while curated local assortment and private label protect gross margins. Integration with Amazon as a distribution channel and Wolt as a same-day option adds incremental volumes without cannibalizing the core.
